Some providers or services need a trunk prefix to be sent before the actual destination number. For example: 8 12124007921 or 8 02071276280. To set a prefix for Zaptel or Voip trunks:
- Login to the system administration
- Navigate to 'Trunks'
- Click on the 'Edit' button next to your preferred trunk
- Click on 'Advanced Options'
- Set 'Prefix'='$PREFIX_NUMBER' (e.g. $PREFIX_NUMBER = 55)
- Click on the 'Save' button
Please note: when the trunk prefix is set as in the above examples, ALL calls through this trunk will be prefixed.
